After 9/11 developing alternative energies should have been one of the top two American priorities. Instead enormous governmental roadblocks continue to exist that stifle developing alternatives such as wind, that are now almost identical in cost to fossil fuel consuming facilities.

Help us work to promote and develop alternative energies from wind and solar, to geothermal, cogeneration, landfill gas and so on, to 1. Protect the national security when it is now an inarguable fact that at least some of the money the U.S. exports to finance fossil fuels ends up in the hands of terrorists, 2. Provide greater domestic employment, 3. End the massive export of US wealth, 4. and not incidentally perhaps save the world from environmental catastrophe.
