A space in which radical unschooling can be seriously discussed as a lifestyle which can begin at birth. Unschooling is trusting children can learn what they need from living rich, full lives. This list is for unschoolers who don't see a reason the philosophy should stop at academics and want to apply the same trust, partnership, joyful outlook, and respect to all of family life and look for ways to use those values to guide their interactions with their families.

The list is geared towards exploration of what radical unschooling looks like with children younger than typical "school age" although participation and input from families with older radical unschooling children are also welcome. Using the term "radical unschooling" is intended to help let
people know that the discussion will expand to all aspects of living with kids - not merely academics but topics such as sharing, sleep, housework, electronics, and food will be dissected in an unschooling light every time they are brought up.

Please take a week or so to read the list and refer to the list guidelines under "Files" before posting. The discussion style here is very direct and focused on unschooling and on the perspectives of children, which is sometimes a shock at first!
