Oakland Community Councils/NCPCs are supported by the Neighborhood Services Division, which assigns a Neighborhood Services Coordinator (NSC), and the Oakland Police Dept. (OPD) assigns a Problem Solving Officer (PSO):

The APCC is a non-political, non-partisan organization as expressed in the APCC By-Laws.
Activities we have organized and participated in our area include: Crime prevention efforts; maintenance campaigns to increase quality of life; Neighborhood Watch formation; fundraisers for Allendale Recreation Center; National Night Out and Earth Day Events; designed/installed Allendale Recreation Center mosaic mural; 35th Ave mosaic planters; Mosaic trash cans on High St, 35th and 38th avenues; monthly maintenance of APNCPC Triangle Garden at 38th Ave and Suter St; and general beautification activities.
Membership in the APCC is open to all residents, property and business owners of the area of Oakland Police Dept.(OPD) Beat 24Y.
Monthly meetings are held on the 3rd Wed. of the month, at 7 PM at the Allendale Rec Center, 3711 Suter St. (No meeting in Aug. and Dec.)
The Sat. after the APCC meeting we contribute in a neighborhood beautification/informational project. We meet at the APCC Triangle Garden at 38th Ave. and Suter St. and plan a project, weeding, trash pickup, light tree trimming, graffiti cleanup and neighborhood outreach in our neighborhood from 10:30 AM to Noon.
