The Allegan County Amateur Radio Club meets on the 2nd Saturday of each month at 9:00 a.m. in the American Red Cross building located at 425 Hubbard Street in downtown Allegan, Michigan.

Annual membership dues for the A.C.A.R.C. are $20 for an individual with family plans available. Special rates for students and seniors.

Join us for the weekly informal net on Sunday evenings at 8:00 p.m. local time. The net operates on 147.240 mhz, + offset, with a pl tone of 94.8 mhz.

Also, on Wednesday evenings at 8:00 p.m. local time is a 10 meter net. This net operates on 28.380 mhz with an alternative frequency of 28.390 mhz and is vertically polarized.

F.C.C. license testing is held at 9:00 a.m. on the 4th Saturday of odd numbered months in the cafeteria of the Allegan General Hospital. Come and get your first license or license upgrade. Bring two pieces of i.d. (one photo), a copy of your current license (for upgrade), and the testing fee of $15.00. Walk-ins are always welcome.

The club is trustee of a 2 meter repeater in Monterey Township north of Allegan, and one in Lee Township in the southern part of the county.

The Monterey Township repeater has an output frequency of 147.240 mhz, + offset, and a pl tone of 94.8 mhz.

The Lee Township repeater has an output frequency of 147.140 mhz, + offset, and a pl tone of 94.8 mhz.
