The Alaska Homeschool Network is an inclusive group of homeschooling families in Alaska. We welcome participation here from families across the diverse spectrum of homeschooling styles and philosophies, and we have no official political, philosophical, or religious orientation. This group exists primarily for homeschoolers to connect with other homeschooling families across our great state for support, discussion, meetings, field trips, and other networking opportunities.
Please note that while we do welcome families enrolled in charter and cyber schools to join us in networking together, we are foundational signatories of the We Stand for Homeschooling statement, and we actively work to inform others of the important differences between publicly funded cyber/charter schooling and homeschooling.
