This is a support group for Freecycle(TM) group moderators in Alabama. The purpose of this group is to help new Freecycle moderators get started, and for all Alabama Freecycle moderators to share their experiences, tips, and problems.

Let's keep in mind that the goal of The Freecycle Network is to keep usable items out of the landfill, and that all items posted on the Freecycle lists must be "Free, legal, and appropriate for all ages". Beyond that, there WILL be differences in how each individual group operates, and that is strictly between the mods of that group, it's members, and Freecycle.org. So, please refrain from "You should..." or "You can't..." statements, and instead say, "Here's how we do it in ________". Keep it friendly and helpful. Thanks!
