A group for the Akron and surrounding area for unschoolers to discuss unschooling, find each other, plan events and activities, and support on the local level. The tone of the list will probably lean toward whole-life unschooling (incorporates unschooling into family and parenting aspects of life as well as partners, spouses, etc.) There will be discussions about seeing learning in everyday life, freedom of choice (i.e. chores, t.v., video games, food, etc.) that folks can participate in or just "listen" to, if they want. We're open to all folks serious about unschooling, regardless of religion, beliefs or lack thereof. Hateful words and discrimination will not be tolerated.

Applicants will be screened to keep a modicum of privacy as well as keeping out weirdos and spammers. Please speak up or e-mail me offlist if something makes you uncomfortable or is upsetting.
