Happy New Year
I hope it will be the year I can sail my Blivit I started building in September
2010. I still have quite a bit to work on but yesterday, last day of 2011 I tuck
it out for a photo shoot and posted the images on our Group site. Before I
started building my Blivit I first emailed to see how many people out there had
previously built one but only one member, Ken, emailed me back. He is also the
one who posted the first Blivit photos. Thanks. I was interested to know if
somebody had applied the pivoting centerboard to the Blivit 13 and as I didn't
get any feedback I had to come up with my own solutions. I am quite happy with
the outcome although if I had to start over again I might do certain things
different. I attached also a PDF file showing 2D drawings I made to support the
building process. Not all on paper is revised yet to the physical stage of the
boat.
I will take photos of the finished boat before putting it into water. You never
know what happens after...
