Welcome! This is a teaching and learning group of air-dry clay artists from beginners to skilled professionals from around the globe. We believe we have a positive environment for the blossoming artist and have hundreds of tutorials and other resources available for our members.
Many of us started with polymer clay and are making the transition to the new air-dry clays, therefore, all the brands and all sorts of clay techniques are discussed, including sculpting figures, creating art dolls, making miniatures, designing jewelry, crafting artificial flowers and home decor. Collectors and vendors of commercially available air-dry-clay are welcome to join and participate.
Clays discussed here will include ready-made brands of air-dry (self-hardening) clays plus homemade clay recipes such as cold porcelain and papier mache. How to mix colors, make armatures and form molds are also popular topics.
