This is a list for African American parent(s) who homeschool their children. Through this site we can hopefully share the challenges faced by homeschooling in general and homeschooling African American children in particular. We would like you to share your ideas for lesson plans, texts you've found helpful, websites, etc. While the primary focus of this list is to explore issues particular to African Americans, ANY information that will help us as African American homeschoolers is welcome (e.g.,excellent way to teach algebra, etc.).
