AdvocateforWC is run by a group of advocates. It is a place where advocating for and adopting waiting children are supported. The primary focus is to support the adoption of Special Needs Waiting Children.

The goal is to help get the word out about these waiting children as quickly and thoroughly as possible so that families, who hope to parent, can adopt and provide these children with happy homes. So join and start an album and/or post information about any special needs child(ren) waiting for a family.

If the child is listed with an agency, then we advocate for the child---wherever he or she is listed. Please handle agency comments in a neutral manner. Agency preferences or grievances are not for this group so any post that praises, recommends or complains about an agency will not be posted. Agency reps may not announce programs. Anouncements for specific children waiting are always welcome.

Although there is a file to post about fundraising, no personal messages for fundraisers will be posted.
