Zen and Advaita have one thing in common. They both advocate instant enlightenment by intuitive understanding. Effort leads you away from what you already are. You do not need to work slowly for life times improving yourself. You already are enlightened, you just have to remove the cobwebs and realize the truth.
Quotes are welcome from Zen Masters such as Osho, Sosan, Dogen, Lao Tzu, Basho, Hyakujo, Nansen, Rinzai, Chuang Tzu, Ma Tzu, Kyozan, etc.
And Advaita Masters such as Ramana Maharshi, Nisargadatta Maharaj, Jiddu Krishnamurti, Ramesh Balsekar, Jean Klein, etc.
Great texts such as HsinHsinMing: The book of Nothing and The Ashtavakra Gita are the unofficial texts of this group.
Your own views too are most welcome. As too are non dual quotes from other traditions.
DO NO HARM.
