The reason for this list is simply to act as a means of communication between
activists and for the exchange on news on activist-related activities.

It is important that all list members fully understand the purpose of this list
as "off-topic" posts are not welcome.

In a world where basic human rights are continually being violated or are simply
being sacrificed for the benefit of political or economic objectives there are
still those of us that continue to raise their voice in protest.

This is a partially-moderated list. Messages that are NOT welcome are those
promoting hate,violence, racism, fascism and similar trash. The same applies to
messages where the vocabulary used is not acceptable. No vulgarities will be
tolerated and those that cannot refrain from such postings or that use
unacceptable language will be removed from the list without further notice!

Something else that is not welcome on this list are "flames" and postings of a
personal/derogatory nature. Feel free to disagree with any other list member but
DO NOT sent him/her a flame via the list! Flames etc will not be tolerated
on the list.

If you have an announcement relative to the purpose of the Activist Mailing List
then please feel free to share the information with the other list members.

Postings on this list MUST be of general interest and preferably of
International interest.

The bottom-line is this: post articles, news etc that have a wider impact and
are of general interest.

Last but not least, this is NOT a "discussion list"! This list is not a chat
forum. Personal responses etc are not welcome. Personal messages to other
members via this list is certainly NOT welcome.

I wish to make one thing VERY clear from the very start.

THIS MAILING LIST DOES *NOT* WELCOME FASCISTS, NEO-NAZIS, RACISTS AND THE LIKE.
IT IS ALSO NOT A FORUM FOR POLITICIANS , RELIGIOUS ZEALOTS OR FANATICS
OF ANY SORT!
