Description

This group is for parents, teachers and therapists of learners with severe/multiple physical and cognitive disablilites to share information and questions about the Active Learning approach. Shown to be effective where other methods are challenged, Active Learning was developed by the danish expert, Dr. Lilli Nielsen, and is in use around the world.

This group is hosted by LilliWorks Active Learning Foundation (www.lilliworks.org), a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization in Alameda, CA, USA. This group is open to all parties interested in Active Learning and the education and therapy of learners (of all ages) with moderate to severe disabilities. Active Learning is effective for those (of all physical ages) under the developmental age of 4 with blindness, deafblindness, cortical visual impairment, cerebral palsy, developmental delay/mental retardation, and other physical and cognitive disabilities.
