This group is dedicated to the Swedish soprano Miah Persson, who has sung baroque opera, Sophie, The Governess, Gretel, Susanna, Sifare, Fiordiligi, Nanetta and others, and also recitals and concerts.
Her recordings include Haydn's The Seasons and The Creation and the Mozart CD Un moto di gioa. She also appears on Bryn Terfel's Tutto Mozart.On DVD there is Falstaff (Aix-en-Provence), Rosenkavalier and Mitridate (both Salzburg) and Cosi fan tutte (Glyndebourne), maybe not yet released. She has appeared in Stockholm, Wellinhton (New Zeelannd), Berlin, Frankfurt aM, Vienna, Innsbruck, Salzburg, Brussels, Paris, London, New York and Los Angeles among other cities. This summer she will make her American opera debut in SSan Francisco as Sophie.
