Adopt_Older_Kids is for anyone who desires to share, learn, listen, support and be supported by others who have been or desire to be touched by the adoption of older children (non-newborn). Domestic, international, special needs, fost-adopt, adoptees, parents (singles and couples), foster parents, adoption related professionals are all welcome. Parenting the older adopted child comes with some unique challenges. Those not parenting these children don't always understand. This mailing list is a place for us to come together and learn from and support one another with these issues. Come join us, but please remember to be open and tolerant to others and their opinions.
