Hello,
Just an FYI that the State of Hawaii and the County of Maui issued a Request
for Proposal on December 3, 2008:
RFP-CA-2908 Sealed Offers for Maui County and State of Hawaii Statewide
Shared Blended Radio System.
A copy of the proposal can be obtained:

Once you arrive at the State & County Procurement Notices page (http://www4.hawaii.gov/bidapps/):

Select an Agency: Department of Defense
Click the Search button.
The RFP has a Published Date of 12/03/2008 and is titled:
Statewide Shared Blended Radio System, State of Hawaii, Department of Defense,
State Civil Defense, Job No. CA-2908
Select "More Info"
On the next page selecting "View Specifications Document" will
open a pdf copy of the RFP.
Vendors should follow the instructions in the bid specifications regarding
comments and questions.
However, I'd hope that government employed folks in the NRPC audience would
take a look at the RFP and let us know off line what we omitted, did wrong,
or did right.
