When writing a CV look at it from your employers point of view. Would you stand
out against the competition (the other candidates) and would the manager want to
talk you for a possible job? You have to ask yourself these questions when
writing your CV or curriculum vitae.

The examiner is only interested to know if you can answer the questions or not.
The examiner is not interested at all in how much knowledge you have or how many
books you have digested. Majority of students manage to pass their certification
when they get a good list of questions and answers and practice them thoroughly.

It is possible to sell yourself for a lesser job when you are overqualified, but
this tactic is actually highly counter-productive and doesn’t normally work.
Therefore you need to look closely the requirement of a job and then emphasise
more on these in your CV rather than showing off your over qualification.

Most of the recruitment consultants don’t have time to go through the lengthy
resume. By attaching a lengthy resume with a one line covering letter might not
create good impression. If you can catch the interest of the consultant by a
good worded covering letter they would go through your CV in detail.

think that only passing exams is enough?, you must have to prepare yourself
professionaly for that field, isnt it?, my recomendation for those who are only
trying to pass exams, ask yourself this question, why are doing certification
for?, for self satisfaction or for making it career.

Hello ~

I am looking for suggestions on Entry #3. I video taped before winter
break a lesson on political cartoons. Students were in groups with
different roles (reporter, recorder, reader and director). They each
had duties and were looking on a lap top at cartoons. We looked first
at symbols and then the author message. We also discussed the
stereotypes in cartoons. I am worried this shows excellent civic
competence, but is not hitting the social understanding.

Anyone have suggestions?

Thanks

Hi there
When applying for a job online, you need to remember that your CV would have
around 30 seconds to get the attention of the recruiter. If your CV fails to get
noticed within 30 seconds, the details will be overlooked doesn't matter how
good they are, and you will not be called for an interview or for more details.

Hi there,
In an online CV you need to add different keywords from the start to the end.
This is because when you add your CV to a job search engine, recruiters normally
type in keywords to choose the candidate. Also try to list your major skills in
the beginning of the CV so it would get noticed. Simple words like excellent,
experienced, fast, skilled etc give extra spices to even boring CV so use them
wisely.

Hi there,
There are so many universities and colleges offering online and distance
learning course and some of them are cost effective as well.If you look around
you might be able to find one, which suits your requirements.

The question one has to ask is getting admission or enrolling in a course is
enough to get your hands on certificate/diploma/degree? Probably not

Actually you need to answer the following questions.

Have you got the time available? Are you willing to work hard on your own? Most
importantly are you ready for a commitment?
