Welcome to the listserv of the Association for Women Journalists-Chicago.
Like the association itself, this listserv encourages discussion of issues important to women journalists and the accurate and respectful treatment of women by the media. It's for posting news, announcements, invitations, job leads and calls for advice pertaining to the profession. The women journalists, and few men, subscribed are among the most talented and influential journalists working in print, broadcasting, academia and online on the planet. AWJ-Chicago is a nonpartisan, nonprofit org. We offer colleagues a network that we hope offers a little bit of sanity in a crazy industry.
To subscribe, send a message introducing yourself to one of the co-moderators--Keidra Chaney (keidra@gmail.com) or Karen Kring (krkring@yahoo.com)--or click the "join" button.
