American Women's Historical Military Services of WWII
We are a group of WWII Women's Living History Reenactors, who may belong to any other units, or simply participate as "independents". Our emphasis is on the lesser represented military impressions, such as the WAVES, SPARS, Marines, and Navy Nurse Corps, but other American military impressions are welcome as well! We share event info and how-to's on topics related to WWII living history. This is a moderated list, so no flaming or off-topic discussions allowed. Above all, we are here to encourage, offer help and support to those involved in WWII Women's Military reenacting, and have a little fun doing so! So if you are currently a reenactor, or would like to be, Join Us! NOTE: While many of our members are militaria collectors, we are first and foremost REENACTORS. If your sole interest is in collecting WWII items alone, this is NOT the list for you.
