A Thread of Hope sells rayon chenille and cotton wearable art, handwoven on backstrap looms by a Mayan women's weaving cooperative in Solola Guatemala. All are Fairly Traded, benefiting the 200 women weavers, many of whom have been victimized by the 30-year history of governmental violence against indigenous people in Guatemala. Some of our products are: jackets, vests, scarves, shawls, handbags, wallets, coin purses, glasses cases, passport bags, cards, and some traditional weavings.
