Dale- Am reading nothing at pin 3 of U10. Of course, pin 3 is for the sidetone, and should be showing 2.5V. I have a Hendriks signal tracer/injector. A

I believe he uses the square osc for freq generation and the 32768 osc for everything else. The mpu itself runs at it's own internal osc speed. -mike/w1mt

Hi, The MSP430 has 3 clocks : one for the CPU, one for peripherals one for accessories. I don't know Steve's design but the internal clock for the CPU could be
