The first-ever United States ATC trading session was held in Denver, Colorado 1997. Mail artist Victoria Regina started the group after exchanging mail with Don/Chuck Stake, the Calgary, Alberta ATC group. He`d sent her some ATC`s and the idea appealed to her and she was hooked! Since there was no one in Denver making ATC`s, let alone trading them, Victoria had to start her own group. She asked two advertising agencies to volunteer their services and help spread the word about the first meeting of the group. The rest, as they say, is history. The Denver ATCers meet at CORE New Arts Space, the second Saturday of each month, from 10am to noon. twenty to well over 100 traders of all ages attend the sessions. After the trade, they have lunch together. The Denver group has been featured in two documentaries and interviewed in many national newspapers and magazines from Albuquerque to Atlanta, San Diego to Seattle." from ATC Quarterly

The second trading session MAKE`EM TRADE`EM. We will meet at 7pm. the fourth Thursday of each month at Jerry Simpson`s studio, 825 E. Arkansas Ave. Denver,Colorado 80210,303-722-9593, just 70 feet south of the new Emerson Street bridge at I-25. Look for the large dog with a bone in his month artwork and come in the 12 foot gate and find the group. After the trading session stay and make some cards and trade again at 10 pm.
