Welcome to the discussion forum for the ASPO-Australia Young Professionals working group. (ASPO = Association for the Study of Peak Oil). Please check out ASPO-Australia's website for more info about the organisation:

The issue of "Peak Oil" is gaining increased coverage in mainstream media, and has a well-established following outside the mainstream. With the spectrum of views ranging from business-as-usual to global die-off, the debate is daunting to say the least. But perhaps it is most daunting for young people just starting out in the world.
What is Peak Oil going to do to the young professional, who has little money but big dreams? Are they going to find themselves unable to live out the life they had come to expect?
This group is an online meeting-place for all young professionals who would like to discuss issues related to Peak Oil and sustainability, and are interested in looking to the future. People outside Australia are most welcome too.
A diversity of ideas and opinions is encouraged, in the interests of helping each other find our way through the information and mis-information out there.
