Description

Welcome to Anglo-Saxon Heathen Mail!

Anglo-Saxon Heathen Mail is dedicated to the discussion and study of Anglo-Saxon paganism and Germanic Heathenry in general. Anglo-Saxon Heathenry is a reconstruction of the tribal religions of the Germanic tribes that migrated to Great Britain in the 5th and 6th centuries and is closely related to Asatru.

ASHmail is sponsered by House Wodening, which is a family dedicated to the religion and worship of the ancient pagan Gods of Anglo-Saxon Heathenry and the West Germanic tribes in general. Folk new to Heathenry are welcome, and we encourage people to ask questions.

Moderated by the authors Swain and Eric Wodening.

ASHMAIL is open to all Asatruar and Heathens. Views expressed on the list do not necessarily reflect those of the House Wodening, its individual family members or Wednesbury Shire.

Re: Elves and Disease
I'm guessing you're talking about "ylfa gescot" (elves' shot) here, and one could also bring up "ésa gescot" (gods' shot); why do the gods cause disease?
