ART, ArtsRendezvousTucson, is a group for everyone around Tucson who loves to attend arts events and participate in the arts. "Arts" means traditional fine arts such as gallery openings and classical concerts. It also includes whatever "artistic" things creative people would enjoy -- for instance, meeting in South Tucson to explore murals, then discussing them over lunch.

ART members choose (or dream up) their favorite events and invite others from the group. Members who enjoy the same thing (or are interested and want to try it) meet at a prearranged time and place. Because the people who turn up will enjoy the same thing, you can share your interests and make new friends.

ART isn't "announce-only"! The purpose is to get like-minded people together, for fun and for service to the arts. Are you a volunteer usher, and more ushers are needed on a night you're there? Know a special food event at your favorite restaurant and want some company? Send an invitation to the group!

Membership is free. There are no age limits, but ART is a group for adults; tolerance, kindness, maturity and respect are required. Events are organized by members and aren't screened (though emails are moderated to keep them on-topic), so please use your judgement. If you have questions about an event, ask the member who announced it or call the venue.

• Please fill out as much of your Yahoo Profile as you're willing to share; that helps other members get to know you.
• The membership list, and your email address, are visible only to other ART members. But your Yahoo Profile is public information.
• If you want to keep your email address completely private, you can choose that as you sign up. Note: this can make it hard for other members to contact you about events you join or host.
• A Yahoo email address isn't required for membership.
