The Amateur Radio in the Park Project is back.... with a new name!!! We are now the Amateur Radio Portable Operations Group (ARPOG). The Amateur Radio in the Park Project was a group of hams in the Tucson (AZ) area that set up radio demonstrations in the city parks for the purpose of promoting Amateur Radio. ARPOG will continue that mission.. both in Tucson, and (hopefully) nation-wide. Come join us for discussion on how to set up and operate portable stations, both for demo purposes, and for fun (I enjoy just getting out and operating once in a while... just for the fun of it).
