Description

The ARCH seeks to improve our society through a broad training institution and home that enables businesses and low-income communities to pursue equity. We believe that diversity training can be transformative and that the same methods employed successfully with businesses can also galvanize troubled communities. Our work welcomes anyone with the volunteer spirit who is ready to pursue projects leading to the acquisition of a natural space for the housing and schooling of children without families (and the providing of a haven for saved animals) and for retreats. Our efforts, notably via diversity trainings, advocate for acknowledgment of the many identities and beliefs that define America, while we work to bring disparate groups together. Our hope is to promote values that enable people to find their own and their communities' potentials, socially and creatively.

The ARCH, a New York State non-profit agency, seeks to create a replicable program for education as well as to train against oppression, with the purpose of creating transformation at the corporate diversity training level and for at-risk communities and youth. Our long-term goal is to build a home for youth with a school, an open rural area and a retreat space managed by our professional diversity training staff.

This egroup will serve to transmit information and updates regarding the ARCH and various work projects. Also to be found here is a number of petitions, action alerts, and informative texts, all congruent with the ARCH's vision of reshaping the world and preaching education and open-mindedness.
