Here's an interesting idea for Orange County's Veterans for Peace. Now
if only we had a representative in Congress....

Colleagues and Friends,

I've sent the following e-mail to each Senator. Perhaps you can do
the same to your own Senators and Representatives. It's a simple
message which cuts across all of the dissembling of the demopublicans
and republicrats:

"Ships and planes took our troops to Iraq. Ships and planes can bring
them home. Make it happen now. It could be complete in ninety days if
the Congress mandates it. Do it. Quit squandering lives. Iraqis are
adults, give them their country back! The life you save may be one of
your constituents. Now is the time. Not next year, NOW! SHIPS &
PLANES!!!"

Enough such simple, straight forward messages and perhaps someone
in Congress will get the idea that the American public is fed-up with
this war.

I've sent this to over 1,000 people. The multiplier effect could
launch a reinforcement of our demand to Congress, were enough folks to
take this simple action.
