Description

Note: To join this group, you MUST include your NAME and CALLSIGN in the membership request! APRSISCE/32 is intended for licensed amateur radio operators only and that privilege comes with the responsibility of identification by CALLSIGN. It's really not that hard.

This group is for hints, tips, and support of KJ4ERJ's APRSISCE APRS-IS client for Windows Mobile (CE) and now Win32 (normal Windows including 7).

APRSISCE on Windows Mobile requires a device with an internal GPS and an unlimited data connection. It displays OpenStreetMap.org maps in realtime as you move and zoom.

APRSIS32 works on Windows machines (including 7 as a non-administrator) and is otherwise a near-duplicate of APRSISCE so you can have one program on both your home and mobile platforms.

Please include your callsign in your membership request. Membership is moderated, but conversations in the group are not.

Or send an APRS message to KJ4ERJ-12!

Re: Save a Multitrack?
Click on the station and select "Save Track" from the popup menu. You can do this any time because it will also ask if you'd like to "Save Future Track

Save a Multitrack?
I used Multitrack to watch an aircraft fly down the East Coast today and would like to save the track as a GPX. Is this possible?

Re: OT: Ocean going barge
... Use a good email client that can infer that aprs.fi/KE5KTU-9 is a URL without having to explicitly add in the http://!!! Hey, at least we don't have to

Re: OT: Ocean going barge
... Well if it was faster to click then you'd need to not only add 8 more characters but a total of 15 for those of us that are lazy to copy/paste/add to that
