Welcome to API-Cincinnati, the greater Cincinnati chapter of Attachment Parenting International: a non-profit parenting group that supports & promotes nurturing, responsive family interactions that develop & enhance empathy, affection, and trust between parent & child.



MEETINGS

WHEN: 2nd SAT/month. Gather at 4 pm w/ meeting from 4:30 - 5:45 pm.

WHO: All current & expectant parents (partners, too!) are encouraged to attend. Children are welcome! Babywearing help available.

Please do:
* Keep sick children & parents at home within 3 days of: cessation of diarrhea/vomiting/fever OR start of respiratory illness
* Freely attend to the needs of your children during meetings
* Suggest ideas for topics & other group activities (fieldtrips, speakers, playgroups, etc.)
* Keep personal information confidential

At meetings, we:
* Help each other w/ current concerns about AP through listening, giving/receiving empathy, brainstorming, sharing experiences
* Discuss an AP-related topic
* Are flexible & cater to the needs of our group, regardless of the scheduled topic!
