Welcome to API-Cincinnati! We are the greater Cincinnati area chapter of Attachment Parenting International (API): a non-profit parenting group that supports & promotes nurturing, responsive family interactions that develop & enhance trust, empathy, and affection between parent & child.

All current & expectant parents (dads & partners, too!) are encouraged to attend. Children are, of course, welcome.

Please do:
* Keep sick children & parents at home within 3 days of: cessation of diarrhea/vomiting/fever OR start of respiratory illness
* Freely attend to the needs of your children during meetings
* Suggest ideas for topics & other group activities (fieldtrips, speakers, playgroups, etc.)
* Keep personal information confidential

At meetings, we:
* Help each other w/ current concerns about AP through brainstorming, sharing experiences
* Discuss an AP-related topic (ie., one of the tools in the AP toolbox)
* Are flexible & cater to the needs of our group, regardless of the scheduled topic!
