AOHL Mission Statement:
Alameda Oakland Home Learners is a support group for home-learning families. Our goals are developing friendships amongst members, organizing activities, sharing resources, creating liaisons with other home-learning groups and providing information to those considering or new to home-learning—all within an environment of tolerance.

This list is intended for Announcements and items of interest to members of the Alameda-Oakland Home Learners group including items related to educating our families and supporting our homeschooling community. Posts not directly related to the above may be sent with "OFF TOPIC" in the subject line and all off topic political posts must be sent with the subject line "OFF TOPIC Political". All posts must be respectful in tone and nature.

Comercial and non-homeschooling posts are allowed with the following restrictions:
They must be preceded by OT (for off-topic)
Postings by enterprises must be limited to four times a year

Political posts reflect the beliefs of the poster and are not necessarily the beliefs of the other members of AOHL.

Children are members of this list, please post accordingly.

Any member who posts rude, disrespectful or inappropriate messages will be dropped from the list at the director's discretion.
