Animal rights legislation is spreading. Defend your right to own pets!

Alabama Pet Law is moderated for flames, trolls, off-topic posts.

We discuss how to fight bills or laws negatively affecting animal ownership: dogs, cats, birds, small mammals, reptiles, others. Federal, state, local legislation, zoning, breed bans, mandatory spay and neuter, breeder registration, breeder licensing, breeding bans, etc. Share ideas, resources approaches. AR questions okay for educational purposes, but this is not an animal rights debate list.

We do discuss some related topics such as breeding practices, rescue policies, various organizations, etc. Private commercial breeders, hunters, rescuers and pet owners welcome -- we're in this together and must learn to work together if we are to own pets in the future.

Trolls will be removed. No petitions, safety alerts, lost dogs, dogs needing homes, etc.
