OK, Kenny Lake is a bit off the Richardson but not much.  The EARED GREBE was
still there in the morning yesterday.  It was best seen from the Lightwood's
pasture mentioned in a previous post.  Also, on the lake were at least four
RUDDY DUCKS (3 male, 1 female) and two male BLUE-WINGED TEAL.   Horned grebes
were busy feeding young, although one pair was still dancing.  Yesterday the
TENNESSEE WARBLER was right as advertised at mile 241.6 on the Richardson.  It
was just west of the highway, opposite a very small pullout.  The bird was
singing a bit at 6:00pm despite the heat and smoke.
