Events
Many people make lasting friendships through AKASF events, which are often social in nature. Some events are KADs-only and some are family-friendly (where you may bring your partner or kids). Recent past events: Tahoe ski trip, Asian-Am Film Fest, BBQ at Golden Gate, adoption paper translation, the Mini-Gathering (conference) in SF Japantown. We also have many impromptu dinners at local Korean joints. The current leadership is interested in delving deeper into issues that pertain to adoptees... We'd love to hear from you if you have ideas on how we can better serve the community.
