Description
Purpose:
AIW-Wargaming supports AIW wargaming in the Middle East and other related areas such as Iran, Iraq, Jordan and Libya. It supports all scales and all types of combat whether on land, sea or air. Different organizational levels are also supported from platoon-sized skirmish games to divisional-sized army games. Board, miniatures, computer and other sorts of AIW games are also supported.
Membership So Far:
As of 7 December 2008, membership is now over 600 members.
Expected Behavior:
Good nettiquette, polite manners and clean language are expected.

Moderator Coverage:
This group has many moderators from all over the world. Moderators are considered co-owners of the site (as well as the members, of course!). New members are moderated for their first few posts to discourage SPAMers.
Allowed Posts:
Posts that have a strong relation to AIW wargaming (In other words: history and wargaming aspects of the Arab/Israeli conflict) will be allowed at the moderators' discretion. We avoid political commentary/debate whenever possible. Current events posts must be somehow DIRECTLY related to wargaming. You may write posts about trades, battle reports, miniature questions, mini assembly, mini painting, game background chat, or just about any AIW wargaming topic.
Unpermitted Posters:
SPAMers, political activists, impolite people, and anyone else being unpleasant will be banned immediately with no warning at the moderators' discretion.
Welcome Members:
Anyone who can tolerate these rules and enjoys AIW wargaming is welcome to join.
