The American Independent Party is California's #3 party measured by registered voters. It is the fastest growing political party in the state! Why? It is right on the issues! It has been a ballot-qualified party since 1968 recognized by the California Secretary of State with the registered I.D. #742371.

This is the official website of one of the party's county level governing bodies, the Sacramento County Central Committee. Due to its activism and proximity to party headquarters, the State Capitol and the Secretary of State's office - it plays a key roll in state party affairs. American Independent Party state conventions are held in Sacramento.

We invite you to examine our state political platform (see "Links"). If a position is Constitutional, we are for it; if it isn't we as a party and our political candidates are aggressively against it.
