Welcome to AHEAD - Association of Home Educators Advancing Dreams!!!

This group is for Homeschooling Teens. We are based in Queens, but we welcome all homeschoolers from the 5 Boroughs and Long Island.

Homeschooling Teens face challenges and concerns that are unique to their age group, including those challenging High School years. Having their own group with others who share their concerns and joys gives them a community that makes them feel secure.

We share resources, information about classes, trips, curriculum, etc. AHEAD-NY has a Clubhouse where we meet for activities for the teens, co-ops, social time, educational programs, etc. We also run a 4-H Program.

The teens are afforded a chance to bond and grow, and the parents have an equally wonderful opportunity to exchange info and assist each other in this journey we are all sharing.
