current news articles and research abstracts about Asperger Syndrome (AS), High Functioning Autism (HFA)and related conditions.
We are a not-for-profit 501 (c)(3) New York parent and professional group whose primary purpose is to support one another as we educate and advocate for the unique needs of children, teens and adults with High Functioning Autism, Asperger Syndrome, Pervasive Developmental Disorders and related conditions.
AHA Association runs FREE MONTHLY SUPPORT MEETINGS for:
- Parents and family members in Sag Harbor, Stony Brook, Commack, Brookville, Bayside/Queens, and Manhattan for SCHOOL-AGE ISSUES;
- Parents and family members in Brentwood and Manhattan for issues focusing on OLDER TEENS AND ADULTS;
- Teens and for adults on the autism spectrum with a facilitator in Bethpage.
