AGEHI (Advocates of Gender, Education, and Health Information) Resource Centre a technical wing of SACHET launched a pioneering five year advocacy project in Pakistan entitled FAD (Fight Against Dowry) on 26th Nov 2005 with an aim to stimulate a thinking process by awareness and sensitization against the institution and practice of dowry and dowry related violence in Pakistan.

FAD focuses on lobbying, youth involvement, research, training and legal advisory services to bring core changes at policy, institutional and social level. It encircles the activities as youth advocacy, parents and policy makers’ involvement and especially media's role to break the ice regarding dowry and dowry related violence.
