I agree. I think thick glass mug with large handle is good. My dad is a proponent of wetting and freezing his mugs ahead of time...not sure if ceramic works as

For me that would mean a mug which is large enough to hold a beer and its foam, 16 oz minimum, and of heavy/sturdy construction either thick glass or Ceramic
