The word "Adult" in our name is not meant to imply erotica, but rather the age of our members. No kids, no young teens, 18 and older, please.

Feel free to post anything you're working on, helpful links, success stories, or whatever else is on your mind. The main draw is the monthly writing contest, longest running one on the net - 10 years now with this month's contest.

When you post your work here and in the contest, don't expect sugar-coated critiques. It's all about becoming better writers. The ACW club has some of the best critiquers on the net, but you may not always like what they have to say about your writing. Praise is given when it's due.

If you receive negative comments, as you often will, please do not waste time with defensive or vengeful posts. You may ignore comments that are not helpful, use those that are, and please do not crit the critiquers.
