Description

The ACEhelp teachers yahoo group is provided by Ancient Coins for Education, Inc. exclusively for the use of teachers who are currently enrolled and participating in an Ancient Coins for Education, Inc. (ACE) program.

Membership in the ACEhelp teachers group therefore is restricted to teachers whose classes are currently enrolled in an ACE program (who are expected to be active members of this group) as well as those who have participated in ACE in the past and wish to keep up with developments in the field and share their experience and expertise with teachers new to enriching their students' experiences through ancient coins.

If you are a teacher who would like to apply to participate in ACE, please visit our website at: http://www.ancientcoinsforeducation.org/ Choose "ACE Application" from the left sidebar menu and follow the instructions on the informative page which comes up. Please note that our usual open enrollment period for registration closes November 1. Inquiries about participation, however, are answered throughout the year.

This group was designed as a bulletin-board and forum for news about program-wide activities and items of interest for teachers involved in ACE programs, as well as a place where ACE teachers, past and present, can network and share ideas. The ACEhelp_teachers group, its files, links and archives, have been created specifically with teachers in mind and is further meant to cover items not necessarily suitable for discussion by students.

Teachers and others not currently enrolled in an ACE program, as well as anyone else who may be interested in exploring the use of ancient coins as an educational enrichment are encouraged to visit our website at: http://www.ancientcoinsforeducation.org/ There you will find more information about how to participate as well as a "Contact Us" link.
