The African Community Center's "ACCconnection" group is an expansion of the successful "Needs, Wants, and Offers" activities from our Community Dinners. The purpose of the group is to connect our community members, staff, volunteers and supporters. To join the group with full access you must have yahoo email account and a volunteer application on file with a confidentiality statement and CBI verification. If you have not submitted these documents, please visit http://www.africancommunitycenter.net/helpnew.htm or come to our new volunteer orientation on Tuesdays at 5pm. (850 Holly St) You may also sign up for the mailing list to receive key emails from the list, although you will not have be able to post emails or have access to calendar, photos, and shared files.

Volunteer Opportunities- The Calendar function will show ACC activities as well as volunteer opportunities. If you are looking for a volunteer activity, whether an on-going or one time one activity, check out the calendar. Details and contact info is posted with each activity to make signing up easy.

Photos- We will post photos from our events. We invite you to share yours also.

Group Email- Please use the listserve function responsibly by not including specific personal information about community members in requests or offers. The group moderator will send out weekly updates on the volunteer opportunities, donations needed, and other important updates each Friday. If you have something to offer or share, please feel free to post it to the entire group. The intent of the listserve is to share and inform, not to overwhelm your inbox with ACC emails, but you may choose to digest your emails so you only receive one email each day.
