Putting together the first African-American Electronic Festival and a website. Authors Readers interested are encouraged to join this group.

The site and conference will be geared to educating the Minorities community on the "new" way of reading books and also promoting African American e-book authors.

I also wanted to find African Americans geared ebook distributors and publishers to highlight on the website, which will be a network or hub for AA resources on the electronic publishing industry.

If anyone else has started something like this, please let me know so I can work with them on it.

I was looking for a conference to be held in early 2010. That'll give us time to look for sponsors and such, plus if there are any people interested in doing workshops, please let me know as well.
