This group is a sister group to the 9x20Lathe yahoo group. Its purpose is to fully document the dimensions and construction of the "typical" import 9x20 Lathe, as sold by Enco, Grizzly, Harbor Freight, and others.

All CAD drawings of 9x20 Lathe parts, assemblies, or specifications are welcome.

I have set a group goal to create a complete solid model of this imported lathe in its most common form; which has a QCGB, and carriage feed by wormwheel around the leadscrew.

We should also then have the ability to document all the lathe parts as 2d drawings; which would likely be available as DXF's.

This group was formed after Jack Hammond of the 9x20Lathe yahoo group suggested the idea of documenting the lathe in CAD.
