Welcome to the Yahoo Group for 971 Royal Canadian Air Force (Air Marshal Slemon) Wing. Founded in 1983 at Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA, 971 Wing is chartered by the Air Force Association of Canada. Its members include former RCAF, Canadian Forces (CF) and Allied members, active duty personnel of the CF, plus a few 'never served' aviation enthusiasts.

More than a social group, 971 Wing members are active in the community, and provide assistance to the Regular CF contingent stationed at Colorado Springs and Denver. The Wing has an elected Executive Committee, and members normally meet monthly at a host member's home to conduct business.
