| Dear all: Celebrated singer Sung Tin Par, Hniang Hniang (Award wining singer in Burma), Chin Rocker Solomon will perform in USA. Salai Tawna Ph.D in Music (Pagan Lann Ka Saunt Nay Mae) from Switzerland and Mi Mi -top singer from Mizoram State of India will be there too. All concert profits will go for Chin State Famine Aid. All singers do not take profit but contribute their talent for the Aid. Once in 50 years, bamboo flower are flourishing in Chin State and Mizoram. Since 2008, rats population outbreak and destroyed 1/4 of crops in Chin State esp in Southern area. Mizoram State also was hit hard but the State gets emergency aid from central government plus food distribution is rapid due to good transportation. Fund raising concerts were conducted since last year in Chiang Mai, Australia, Europe, Malaysia and Singapore. As singers do not take any profit, the emergency relief fund was effectively being distributed to Chin State. Above singers had been granted Performance Visa to USA. Local organizers are planning to host concerts in a very short/tight schedule. Please be aware and contribute when they comes to your areas. It will be in October and November. Thanks Salai Lawma |
