This group has been founded to facilitate the reconnection of
first enlistment (non career) US Army ASA (Army Security Agency)
workers... translators, diddybop, signals, crypto, etc who served in Berlin, Germany between the end of WWII through the end of the "Vietnam Era" at one or more of the several US Army electronic monitoring sites scattered across Berlin, including Teufelsberg, Templehof, Grunewald, Rudow and housed in the former German facility at Andrews Barracks.
This group's focus is directed at the first time enlistees who did not
remain in the army and are, therefore, not candidates for maintaining
connections through traditional veteran's groups and other methods.
However, the group is also open to anyone who served at or had a relationship with any of 78th (or any of the stations various names) personnel in Berlin if you submit information related to those connections.
