78-C is a sister group to 78-L. The "C" stands for "commercial"... a list for anyone interested in buying/selling or trading early vintage sound recordings and related material.
Commercial sale announcements are WELCOME, even if occasionally lengthy. The following topics are acceptable, welcomed, and even encouraged:
Sale listings, auction notifications, trade offers, and want lists of material pertaining to vintage sound recordings; sales of EP, LP or CD re-issues of items originally recorded at (or near) 78-rpm are acceptable; notices of "Services Provided" are also tolerated if kept "occasional" and "low key";
Please avoid bringing dealer/customer "disputes" to the List unless all other possible settlement means have been exhausted.
78-C Membership is MODERATED so new member application acceptance may be a little delayed since your moderator does have a life beyond 78-C!. Postings of items of a limited local nature are discouraged since 78-C is read by a world wide audience.
78-C has a history of tolerance and very light group management. It is intended for a civilized and gentlemanly discourse for the subject matter, and members are expected to act ccordingly. See 78-C Policies in the Files section for a listing of other group rules.
